I missed football. I was praying it would come back at some point and then it did. Watching the Bundesliga for a few weeks and then La Liga came back and then the one we were all waiting for to get back into action- The English Premier League. I was so excited! I could not even sleep the night before and then the day arrived and the premier league was back. I was so happy. Now I cannot stand the sight of it and I need these eight games to hurry up and disappear.

Your presumptions were right. I am an Arsenal fan and I am VERY frustrated. This first article was actually supposed to be about my top 20 athletes of my lifetime but I saw that Arsenal were about to give David Luiz a new contract so we had to “switch it up”. Since the premier league came back, Arsenal have played two games and have had four long term injuries, one red card, conceded five goals, been told that our players need to learn humility, had a positive Covid-19 test the day before the premier league came back and to make matters worse, we are apparently giving David Luiz a new contract. I cannot believe it!

In typical football fan behaviour, it would be easy to overreact to everything. But taking a step back and looking at everything, losing to a team like Brighton is something Arsenal do every year and there is no shame in losing to Man City. When fully healthy and in full flight, there is not a team around like Man City…
